Thanks! I think the consensus among most is that once it reaches a certain size it does in fact like to plate. That pic is kind of old and was when it just began to plate.

Maybe not the rarest or most colorful there is, but I'm happy with it because this appeared out of a brown/purple tip Acropora

Another one I like because of the intense green centers of the polyps.

I have a loripes and I have never seen one as nice so to me it is rare. The polyps actually sparkle.

My Garf Purple Bonsai I have posted several times but it is by far my favorite. I have high hopes for my $500 efflo that is growing nicely but the nice color is very slow in developing. So it is more like a $50 efflo for now

Definately Cyphastrea. The link you posted is for a Caribean coral, and not hat its not possible its unlikely. Also the pic in the link doesnt contain enough detail of the coralites to make a determination. Check this link, huge difference from what you posted. http://www.coralite.net/mcav.html
