Show off your Rarest/Most Colorful SPS corals

Nice corals! I love seeing how the same coral changes in different peoples tank's (several of you have posted GARF bonsai's and they all look a little bit different - very cool).

Definately Cyphastrea. The link you posted is for a Caribean coral, and not hat its not possible its unlikely. Also the pic in the link doesnt contain enough detail of the coralites to make a determination. Check this link, huge difference from what you posted. http://www.coralite.net/mcav.html

Beautiful sps everyone. I just wish all my stuff wasnt frags. :(

I fully agree on the ID. Can't you get M. cavernosa as a hitchhiker on LR (TB)? I know I've seen it in the trade, wasn't there a Tyree tagged piece running around?

I guess it's becoming more rare now that ORA lost their mother colony. Still just a frag but it's getting there:

FYI when I spoke to ORA a couple weeks ago, they said they did
not loose the strain. They had some problems, but still have it.

Very close badfish. I think the coraiite structure is a bit different, but that could just be from captivity From what I know, this piece came in around 3.5 years ago.

Here another one thats nothing too special, but I like the way it looks on Mondays :)

You can use just about any DSLR camera with a good macro lens. Check out the photography forum for lots of useful tips.
