Black Scopas Tang

That is a beautiful fish. How big does a black scopas get? I've never seen one before.

How do you guys get such nice pics, I have a sony cyber-shot 4.1 megapixel. Do my skills suck or is it the camera?

Magapixels doesn't have much to do with what you see posted on these boards. (you might see the effects of higher pixel counts if you looked at large printed versions of these pictures)

Sadly, it probably has a lot to do with your skills. Judging from your photos, you probably need to increase the shutter speeds to freeze motion. You may have to increase ISO in order to get those higher speeds. Most all cameras have the capability to do this kind of thing..even small point and shoot models.

Hello All,

I currently have a hippo tang and flame fin tang in my tank. Here are a few shots.

I have a Yellow Tang and Purple Tang coming out of quarantine this weekend, and they will be subject to many photos once they settle in!

Here's what I have for now:

I got the hippo tang very small. It was as small as the clownfish. It's already almost double their size!

I'll post more of the Yellow and Purple soon.

Regards,

This is from my early set up so the rocks are really bare but the fish are basically the same. The yellow tang has a bit more color now.

Thanks for the comments =) About 6-7" in a typical tank... or about the same as other zebrasoma tangs (yellow, purple, sailfin etc.) =)
