Check your parameters. Do you have a lot of rock for him to hide in? Is he/she eatting? There is a lot of things that could be wrong. What size tank? From what i have heard they are pretty easy fish to keep.

My Blue tang is changing colours. Her black changes from a metallic silver to yellow and then back to black. Has anyone witnessed something like this? See pics below..

Wow! Have never seen that before. Not to sure whats going on there. Maybe Stress? What size tank?

Well, shoot. Lots of nice tangsI'll put mine in for good measure. I'm still trying to figure out how to shoot pictures of moving targets. Also, yes, I named my fish

I intially thought stress as well, but she has been with me in my 10ft tank for almost 2 years now with the same tank inhabitants. Water parameters are all good, so I am not too sure what she would be stressing about!
It only recently started happening and very few and far between. She does have a tiff with the Red sea sailfin once in a while, but its more when they scuffle for nori or other food. I will keep a close eye on her!
I tell you though, she looks absolutely stunning, unique when it does happen, especially when the black changes to a metallic silver!

Wow this is a weird thing. But if it seems not to be hurting the fish. But just keep a close eye on her. But yeah i bet it is very nice to see.

Very nice. How do you get your pictures so clear and very colorful
High-end camera (Canon 7D), pro lighting (umbrella's/strobes placed at an angle) which not only provides good lighting and interesting shadows, it also lets me shoot at a high shutter speed with a modest aperture for depth of field, shoot in RAW, shoot lots of shots with relatively few keepers, and good post processing. I also don't have corals yet, so my targets are usually fish so I use continuous auto-focus which has it's downside (most notably the camera will NOT wait for focus confirmation before snapping, it just goes when told), but helps with targets in continuous motion. The strobes cycle slowly (well, relatively speaking) so I can't shoot in high speed mode.
When I have a good shot typical workflow is white-balance adjustment in DPP, send to Photoshop to crop, resize, optimize contrast, and sharpen as appropriate. Sometimes I bump the color saturation, but just a tad otherwise it can get cartoonish quickly. I leave the lights off in the room and the strobes are providing most of the light so white balance is easier to deal with, though sometimes the contrast between the tank lighting and strobe kills a shot.
