Don't worry,you can grow anything with this light.Just make sure to use quality bulbs like ATI or KZ.

My old 75 gallon was predominately SPS/Clams. It was lit with a 6 bulb Tek5 fixture. When I upgraded, to a 200 Deep Dimension, I used the same fixture and added a 4 bulb Tek5. This tank is 27" deep and also predominately SPS/Clams. I can grow any SPS I want, on the sand bed.

My tank with Tek T5 8x54W before I changed to LED light.
why did you change when you had results and coloration like that? I've seen your recent pics under LEDs and they pale in comparison to your T5 setup.

I need it to redo my tank and wanted to switch to LED. I got tired of spending $200 every 6 months for new bulbs.Also electricity cost and heat issues were a factor.Yes with T5's you can get great colors,because there is so many options as far as bulbs.With LED so far my spectrum is about 10-12K so corals look a little different,but believe me they still have great colors.It is very hard to get very accurate picture or video with LED lighting.When only blue LED's are on, my corals show colors I've never seen with T5's.

I'd like to see more of these. I currently have a 4x54w over a 55 with lots of SPS and LPS. The SPS are just frags though, so I'm not sure if this will be strong enough once they mature. I am debating on purchasing LED's and I think if anyone has anymore advice of pics it would be a great help.

Bumping this thread again. I'd really like to see SPS dominate tanks with Teks. I just picked one up and would like to see more examples. I'm used to ATI so I'm a bit skeptical about these but would really like to give it a shot. How often do you find yourself replacing bulbs?
