Anyone would like to explain the construction. I don't fully understand how a calcium reactor works yet.

just had the parts machined...

was thinking of benching the GEO... however, the 4-way T fitting isn't available here in Korea... =/

and so I was thinking of placing the outlet on the top cover...

I'll put them together in few days when the pipe arrives... and see...

cylinder specs is about 150mm pipe and about 500mm tall...

here are some parts that i got so far...^^

center hole is to the pump and the other is where the outlet should be... (outlet for the geo is placed by the pipe... would this make so much diff? any sugg?)

strainer and the base plate... all done in 10mm acrylic

all laid out...

Left one is a 28" height DIY Ca reactor, right side is modification of AB Ca reactor.

got most of the fittings and parts... still waitin for the o-ring and weld-on #16... =/

I had them put together to make sure they all fit... ended up making little adjustments...

I plan to run sicce syncra 1.5 @ 23w... but I will shave the impeller to down the wattage to hopefully by half...

do you need to see inside a calcium reactor? Could you build cheaper with PVC?

Also with the coralife skimmer mod how did you attach the top?

liberal amounts of aquamend epoxy putty

function over form. no one sees it and it works great!

I have that skimmer in the shed. did you use the smaller or the bigger model?

"xexxxe" i stumbled accross your build and i wanna know how did you make the the groove where the oring is place on the reactors lid? im building a sulfur reactor and and all im missing is a lid as of now im slaping a threaded sleeve with a threaded cap, but it looks so bad.
