rare nepthea, yeah, who was feeding you that info? I've seen colonies the size of my arm sell for $40, Every reefer I know has this coral!fun stuff
I think its the neon green color that is rare. I have read it too, I just can not remember where.

I have that Palau Nepthea coral. UpScales here in Portland was selling 1.5" frags of it a couple years ago for $50 each. This colony was grown from one such frag. It is a BEAUTIFUL coral for sure. I have fraged it twice but it is very rare for me to do so. I think there are a lot of green nepthea corals out and about but, ones this bright and solid neon green are rare IMO.

Sorry for posting the sinister, soft corals. Mods delete my post if inappropriate. Thanks.

I have never seen this guy around. I know of only one other with this. We have been unable to ID this one but refer to it as the blue/green bonsai. It heavily encrusts at the base with bright gold green with purple highlights and rim. It forms bonsai like branches with bright purple tips. Any help on ID would be appreciated.
