Show us your shallow reefs

What do you consider a shallow reef? A range of sizes or a percentage of depth to square area of bottom would be useful. I wouldn't consider a 6'x2'x2' shallow, but the same 2' deep on an 8'x4' might be shallow?

I have a 4'x2'x14" deep reef. Is that shallow?

There is an old thread here on RC, I just can't remember the title of the post. In this post, it is stated that 20" is the max to be considered as a "shallow" tank.
