Talked to CMAC, Dirk, and we figured that while we did not want to put the local attendees through two huge shows in the same weekend and make possibly make them pick, it would work really well for you guys to plan travel to do them as close together as possible, as you suggested we do, so more vendors would come. So, we figured one Saturday for one show, and then do the other one the next - would make everyone most happy, and the carolinas are not a bad place to chill for six days. I hear tell that is how the reptile shows do it, the vendors travel up or down the east coast going to one per weekend...

So, guess that means Fall ReefSMART would be 9/14 or 9/28, whatever works out best for our location - though I am sorry, negotiations have fallen apart a bit for the date on the spring show so far - as they don't have the exact day I wanted, I had wanted April. What do you think of a late May show? I think we had a really great show in May before, and it looks like no one has anything in that month yet? Thanks as always for all your help and organization!

Could you provide a like or more info on the Madison, WI Swap

I'll chime in here if that's ok. The Madison swap is going to be held at VFW post 7591 at 301 cottage grove road, Madison, wi. It will run from 12-3 and is free and open to the public. The swap is Wisconsins oldest and largest swap. 20 + vendors from at least three states including Eye Candy Corals, Cherry Corals and Dirks. A full listing will be available on the MARS site in a few weeks.

Thanks for putting this all together in one place again!

INDMAS is tentatively set for 4/27. Should be another great swap with vendors and a good turnout from the Midwest as we did last year! Look forward to seeing everyone.

November 9th will be the day of our reef symposium in Charlotte put on by the local club RASOC. There will be a couple of speakers, raffle and a frag swap.
