shrimp compatabilty

Have you guys ever had much luck having different shrimp in the same tank?For example I have a coral banded shrimp and camel shrimp in my 125 and they dont fight or anything I would like to maybe add a cleaner shrimp and or a fire shrimp to the mix any ideas about doing this?:strooper:

i have a monkey shrimp and coral banded in a 30g tank and the only other shrimp i have had luck with adding to the tank was peppermint shrimp. the fire and cleaner shrimp had both died within 2 days. i tried both of them numerous times and all had the same ill effect. some have had luck with alot of shrimps but not me.

I had a coral banded, 2 cleaner shrimp, 4 peps,blood red fire shrimp and a tiger pistol all in the same tank. I guess you can say I like shrimp. the coral banded was the oldest and had grown quite large. The peps started to dissappear. I gave the coral banded away and nothing else has dissappeared. they all come out to eat when I feed and I dont see any problems. The fire shrimp only comes out when its time to eat thou. HTH

i have cleaner and flame (fire) in my 65G. They stay to themselves. Cleaner is much more visible than flame but thats just their typical behavior.

Ive been wondering about this too. I have a randalls pistol shrimp and have been wondering about getting a cleaner and or a fire and in the far future possibly some sexy's. Ive kept some pep's for a couple of months but they slowly dissappered. Ive had the pistol for a month and I think I'll be adding the cleaner or fire sometime in the next couple of weeks.

Ok, I have...

1. 2 Cleaner Shrimp
2. 1 Fire Shrimp
3. 2 Sexy shrimp (I plan on getting MANY more)
4. 2 Urocaridella Anemone Shrimp
5. 1 Anemone Shrimp
6. 1 Peppermint
7. 1 Coral Banded Shrimp

All are in a 46 gallon tank and none have any problems at all. 10 shrimp in total, going to get more.

Ah the wonders of the internet.I am going to a fire shrimp this week and maybe some peps as well I will keep you posted as to how it goes thanks guys,
