Shrimp hitchhiker ID please

I picked up a couple of small, opaque camel backed shrimp as hitchhikers on my TBS rock. I can't post a pic because they only come out at night and then stay in the middle of the rock pile.

Anyone have any idea on an ID for these guys?

Do they have one large claw or any other distinguishing attributes?

I didn't notice it, but I didn't get that great of a look at him. He looked very much like this one:

Only problem is he came from the Gulf of Mexico and not the Western Pacific.

My first guess would be a pistol shrimp. I THINK i have 2 that came w/ my shipment, have only seen one. He's black and lives in a deep hole in one of my rocks. I've only seen him a handful of times. If it is a pistol you'll know it because you will hear him about 100x more than you will actually see him. Mine is popping like crazy all day long and he only does it more at night. The reason i said i think i have 2 is that it sounds like the popping noise is coming from a different side of the tank every once in a while.

I hear popping all the time in my tank also. I have searched every nook and cranny in the rocks and cannot find hide nor hair of a mantis or pistol shrimp!
