shrimp id

sorry no pic this guy is shy. but it looks to be about 3/4 to 1 inch long hides in a rock crevice and retreats as soon as he sees you .

body apears opaque like a ghost shrimp but does not have the ghost shrimp hump back . claws are a translucent blue color with one claw (left one) being larger then the other.

I hope that's enough info for someone to id it .

Without a photo there is probably no way to id it, though you could look up types of pistol shrimp and see if it is one of those. Pistols have one claw bigger then the other, but a shrimp that lost it's claw sometimes takes a few molts for it to grow even with the other, so it may not be one of the species of pistol shrimp.
