shrimp larva for food

Both will readily produce eggs but neither will have successful reproduction in a typical reef tank. The pelagic eggs will be skimmed off or eaten. Even if a fertilized egg survived long enough to be a larval stage it will go through several different stages & require different types & size food at each stage. On the other hand, if all you want are eggs, one poster has reported that his cleaner produces eggs every 3 weeks then molts.

Leslie,

You've been working with your worms too long ;) Crustaceans typically hold the eggs on their underside till they hatch. In the case of shrimp, the larvae are pelagic and difficult to raise, but they will make good food for the other tank inhabitants ;)
