Shrimp Molt - Newbie question

Hi,
I think my cleaner shrimp molted for the first time because I can see the old shell and feelers/legs wedged between two live rock in my tank under another piece of live coral-
I have a newbie question- Should I take the molt shell out or leave it in? It's not very easy to get to is why I ask- but i COULD get to it if I had to. I have a Nano 24 with a sapphire protien skimmer-
I've read some places say to take it out, where other places said it dissolves fast and doesn't contaminate the water.
I'm thinking maybe since my tank is so small it might be a good idea to try and take it out- Any advice would be appreciated-

Thanks!

Just leave it. It's really no big deal, and won't dissolve into anything dangerous. If you have a really active cleanup crew, they might even eat it for you.

I try to get them out, not a big deal, but why let something decompose if you can pull it out. If it is in a tough to get to location, don't worry.

I just leave the molt in the tank. Its usually gone in a day or two.

Its also a good sign that the shrimp is growing & doing good

Wife called and sid she thought jaques in nemo was caught in filter intake Pepermint shrimp.I thought he was dead . He molted he's fine . If I put my hand in tank he crawls on my hand i realy like him. can you have more than one in 25 gal tank ?

Molt Gone

Hey- Thanks for all the fast replies! I left it in and it's pretty much gone this morning like you guys said. Only a couple little feelers flying around but they'll be sucked into surface skimmer soon-
