I was playing around with the camera and macro settings. Now if I can just remember what I did...

Thanks! Nikon Coolpix 4300. The mushroom rock was always just a dull grey, then I moved it to the other side of the tank in the shadows. The color REALLY jumps out now.

who is aquatic imaging? Is that a picture touch up place?

Aquatic Imaging is my side company (designing and rendering swimming pools, fountains, etc. aquatic.imaging@gmail.com ). I thought the name fit for this as well so I used that. The picture was cropped but that's all that was done to it.
