Shrooms releasing from rock why?

Can anyone tell me why my mushrooms are starting to release from there rock after a year. I have about 10 different types of mushrooms and these are the only ones that are releasing.

they're just moving, thats what the do from time to time...my discosomas do it more than any other type in my "Shroom Garden" tank...

+1 that theyre moving... mine came on a frag and once I attached it to a rock and the mushroom moved over completely off the frag

I started with 2 red and one blue shrooms in my 210G DT 3 years ago in a small corner in the back of the tank. I now have ~50-70 reds and ~30 blues throughout the tank. They grow like weeds.

same here. I have had a few mushrooms detach and float around. Hopefully they like where they land and start growing like weeds!

Mine began to detach but then reattached a week later to the same spot. I had two that were quarter sized....those ones are now 4 inches across, the other 11 are between dime sized to 3 inches.

I wish I knew how to make them detach from the rocks. I have an overabundance of fuzzy mushrooms! I need to get rid of some of them and getting them loose from the rocks seems to be out of the question. If anyone has any ideas please let me know.

They are unhappy or they wouldnt move. Look at a change in your water quality.

Yeah they usually don't detach like that if they were happy... So check your water or maybe reduce flow? Or lighting?
