shuran skimmer

Hi everyone,

I would like to know the performance difference between shuran skimmer and ER/deltec. Shuran jets skim equals these skimmers? Did Anyone ever tried shuran jets skim? feelbacks?

I have used a couple different models of the Schuran. They're not the greatest skimmer on the market, but they aren't that bad either. I think I would honestly still opt for the EuroReef, or maybe even an ASM if you're on a budget. HTH

shuran tells us that their skimmers use a new skimming process... do we call this new process simply venturi or what???

Schuran's build quality is second to none! The Jetskim 200 that I used rocked, it was right on par with an ASM G4 Plus or EuroReef CS8-2 (old model) CS180 (new model). The Jetskim 150 is not a bad skimmer either, however it is definitely a step down in terms of performance from the 200. The Jetskim 100's and 120's definitely leave a little to be desired in my opinion. I would go with the ER or ASM over those two.
