Yes and no.
In a technical sense, the osmolator can open and close our solenoid 8555.200 but;
The osmolator will as a safety close the valve after 10 minutes, many RO units cannot produce enough to top off a tank in 10 minutes. Further the water will be of low quality as the short run time allows the salts removed to seep back in so the first water produced has a higher nutrient load.
You also will defeat the safeties as you are relying on a solenoid which will likely eventually stick open and result in a flood, since it is stuck, the safety floats signal to close will not save you as it would with a pump.
It is very risky and while technically possible, not recommendable.
