shy Lawnmower Blenny?

Just got a LMB two days ago. He is very shy and hides in the rocks. But I do see him eat algae off the glass walls and some rocks. Question is: for now, as there is sufficient algae for him, should I worry about feeding him at all? And will he get a bit more confident?

What do you feed him? I'd like to get one too, and I'm worried my initial algae won't be enough in the long run...

Mine will get right in the mix when I put nori in the tank. He grazes constantly, but I;m always happy to see him taking some nori when I add it. He will also grab the ocasional mysis when I feed the tank.

Mine perches on rocks and corals, but is out in the open 90% of the time. He has quite a personality, actualy.

ok I'll try to feed him some Nori (he'll likely go hiding once I approach...) but maybe he'll eat it later... btw, does anyone have a LMB and a royal gramma? my royal gramma is the cutest thing: first he was so scared of the LMB, now he's watching it with curiosity...

Mine hid for about a week before becoming totally confident. He now perches where ever he chooses. He will sit right next to the purple dotty back, even though it threatens to rip his head off every time he comes close. He does the same thing to my overly defensive pink spot goby. He'll sit right on the sand bed next to him, right in front of the door to the "den".

Funny thing is, Ive never seen him eat anything other than algae off the rocks. He doesnt flinch at any prepared foods even nori or other veggie foods. I guess once its all gone maybe he'll change his mind, but for now.....
