I recently got 2 swallowtail angel fish (male & Female) both are currently in a QT (not fully cycled) Both eat like a champ....after a week in QT the male just today started laying between the bak wall of the tank and a rock. Breathing seems normal and if I feed brine & mysis the male swims normally and eats just fine.... then goes back to its spot. The female also has swam into the same spot but the male will chase her out. No signs of ick either..... I have noticed a few times that the female would swim right next to the male and they bothe move there fins rapidly ....
Is this male shy or could it be sick.....
