Chingchai,
You think you guys be done by July?
I may pay you a visit when traveling to Burma in a few months.
What an amazing reef club you folks have down there...
Cheers, James
Hi Chingchai....
I saw this new thread only today...dang...i need to browse more :headwally:
The design looks totally amazing....and progressing so fast too...
Something to really look forward toand more inspiration for my ongoing build.
Whats the plan for aquascaping?
Thanks a lot for sharing....
Happy Reefing!!
I can't wait! Yet another masterpiece from the awesomely insane chingchai. Usually I'm surprised when I see really nice tanks, but not when it comes to anything SRC. You can expect this tank to be TOTM quality within two months of the first coral being introduced.
Oh? Those pipes are the overflow? Or return? I'm a little confused? How will that work?
Hello chingchai...
The setup is coming up just beautifully and can see from the planning its destined for greatness...
As always the stand looks so very innovative with all the slider doors on the cabinet sump section...hoping you will explain to us what they are for in due time
The plumbing looks very unique in design...and does give an insight on the aquascape...
Gosh seeing the tank crack like that sent shivers through me....very scary.....
What do you think was the cause?
Did it happen when the tank was full of water? It couldnt take the load?
What thinkness is the base glass?
An uneven base? Are you using styrofoam underneath?
Improper levelling?
Hoping you will give us some insight so we can learn.
Sorry for too many questions....
Good luck and waiting eagerly to see the tank coming up...
Happy Reefing!!
Hi Ching, nice project as usual.
Sad to see the tank has cracked but i think was happens due to the weight of the overflow pipes, maybe they make a flection moment that load the bulkheads connection.
It's only a opinion, and i suggest to put a rod to help distribute the overflow weight.
