SiamReefClub tank project III

You can see the logo in the initial pictures.
I feel the logo is apt since it is to showcase this tank as "the" SIAM Reef Club display tank. I feel unique touches like the logo makes a reef tank stand apart from the rest.
It was even present in the older club tank as well? Am I right Chingchai?

Wow amazing. Love the aquascape! So I assume that the overflow pipes are quite loud since the they suck in air and water? Or have you done something to prevent noise?

We can understand how Chingchai feels.
The SIAM reef Club is like his child and many reefers in Thailand are passionate members of this club.
Will anyone like it if someone criticized their own child or something they hold dear in a public forum? No is the answer and it can definitely give a bad feeling.
In my humble opinion, if you don't like something you can say it...but it would be better to use restraint and a more considerate use of words. Bcoz what you criticize will be something someone holds very dear to their heart.
Just a humble request...

Happy Reefing ya'll :)

Anup. You really know me.
Thank you so much for your understanding.

I complimented on the tank, aquascape and logo and pointed out that the two last ones don't mix well.
I got a critique that I have no heart so you got your revenge and we are even now.
Ok. We are even.
No hard feeling. Right?

You are exactly right my friend.

I consider it like this....is the sea silent? Nope it isn't. The sights plus sounds of the waves and all the splashing completes it. I prefer a wee bit of sound of the water flowing and splashing in my setup...it gives me a feeling that my reef is real and alive, bcoz I wanna try replicate nature staying true as far as possible to the sights and sounds.
It's like fine tuning the sound of the engine of a car. :)
This might sound silly, but iv tried adjusting the length and position of the my drain lines to get a soothing "water flowy" and slight splashy sound. It was an unplanned experiment but I was pleasantly surprised I could learn something about it :D
This is just my opinion :)

Well done Chingchai!

You guys are solving for so many problems. I love the pvc overflow/return. On a 360 tank, that is a Steve Jobs quality solution! Can you give us more details/pics on the overflow?

And kudos to all in Thailand on the artificial rock, that is the direction we need to be headed in.

You guys are leading the way!

BEAUTIFUL!!!!
The most awesome part of the club is it looks so cozy, warm and welcoming...
Would be just great to sit and have a coffee in front of this tank. SIAM reef club members you guys are a lucky lot!!
Chingchai just a small doubt...what about the amazing Clarion you had in the previous club tank? Will it be added here?

Excellent work on the overflow and rockwork to conceal it !!! I want to learn to do that.I also use a PVC (stand alone) pipe overflow. Although mine is on the back wall. Leaves a lot of open space vs a regular inetrnal overflow. Mines also very quiet. Why aren't you addinng some SPS colonies to the tank?

This build is amazing! I love the rock work and the hidden internal plumbing! Nice job carving the way to greater aquarium builds from all moving forward!
