Sicce .5 or Sicce 1

Bought a new 25G Nuvo Fusion Lagoon and want to replace the noisy stock pump. Looking at the Sicce .5 (185gph/8 Watts) or the Sicce 1 (251gph/Watts). Which should I go with? I'm putting an MP10 in the tank so I'm not worried about flow. Prefer more contact time but want to make sure the .5 is not too weak. Plan on keeping softies. No fish. Let me know your thoughts.

I dont use either sicce pump.

Your stock pump is 211 gph, right in between the two sicce. The same IM stock pump is in my IM 20g Fusion, with two return nozzles. I feel more flow through the filtration in my tank is not a must but probably good. And yours is 5g larger.

By the way, i cut a piece of silicon drying pad and put where stock pump in contact with tank. It is pretty quiet.

If you lift the pump clear of the tank wall, it may be quiet enough for u.
