Sicce voyager powerhead

I am considering a Sicce voyager 1 for my 15 gallon nano reef. Have any of you used it? I am wondering if the pump is too strong for my nano reef (softy/LPS tank).

They're better than the koralias, I used two threes in my large tank buy you can't beat a vortech.

Please excuse my mad typing skills while using my ANDROID tapatalk peeps!

sicce 1 is nothing like a sicce2 or sicce3. totally different design. for a tank that small i would just get a koralia.

I understand that a Sicce 1 is adjustable from 265 to 607 gph while a Koralia 1 and a Koralia nano are fixed at something like 400 to 450 gph...

I had a mp10 on my 24gallon and I wouldn't ask for anything more. The sicce's and Koralia's are nice; the sicce being easier to link with a controller unit since it has a gradual slow down and start up unlike the Koralia's. The feature I like the most with the Mp10 cause you have many programs and fluctuating flow patterns; as well as variable speed. I also feel like my corals were happier and grew faster with a more natural flow pattern within my tank

I love my sicce 2's! They are dead quiet on start up and while running. You actually have to put your hand in front of them to tell if they are on. You can have them switch on and off every 5 seconds or maybe less dEpending on your controller.
I could run my 2's directly on corals with a short burst if I wanted to, the flow pattern is wide and soft, so a 1 should do great for you.
I love my mp40 too, the undertow is fantastic!
