Is there a reason why you keep salinity at 1.030? Do you measure salinity with a hydrometer or refractometer? Try lowering to 1.026 and see if it helps. It should.

what kind of lighting do u use? sg is way too high. also, i see aiptasia in ur tank which u need to get rid off.

Thank you for all your responses. I check sg with a refractometer. My lights may need changing they are cf. I will slowly lower sg today and see if that helps. And my wife has been wanting me to get rid of aphasia as well. Today is a good day to do all. Thank you. I will post pics when completed.

How many watts of CF? Unless you have a ton, CF are not sufficient to keep nem's long term. Nem looks pretty classically light starved to me - has begun to consume itself.

Just recalibrate do the refractometer had it done 6 months ago. Buddy of mine uses the calibration fluid. It was spot on. And the cf's are Hamilton 65 watt 10000k and a 65 watt 460nm. What kind of lighting do you suggest as an upgrade. We'd like to keep the hood. It's a 29 gal biocube

Alright the salinity has stabilized to 1.025. Now for the lighting. Too many choices on the interweb so i can really use some help here.. How many led's? What color? What type of Led's? Want it all to be controlled...I have a Neptune Jr controller...Will that control dimming of Led's? Sorry so many questions but it is all a bit overwelming.....ugh
