sick clown fish HELP!!!!!

i have a new 180gal tank last week i took a water sample in to my local saltwater store (great mom and pop store ) and vickie did a nother water test on my tank to see where my nitrate,nitrite,ph and ammonium levels were at well i had them right or the tank had them right or did i do something right ? any ways she told me it was time to put fish in so i picked out 2 clown fish (tomato) and about 10 crabs to start my cleaning crew ....well today marks one week in my tank and i got up a little early turned the lights on and neather fish came out to say hello like they normaly do HMMMMM so i took my dogs for a walk not thinking much about it and whe i got back in i took not that i could not see eather of them so i took a closer look at the tank and found them both un the upper front corner of the tank swiming on there sides i opened the lid to the tank and the bigger of the two took off for the heater corner on the other side of the tank and the other one is now sitting behind my over flows on the back side of the tank ? please help i am at aloss of what to do !!!!!
 
Sounds to me like you woke them up. I guess they're not morning fish. Other than sleeping in the corner and dashing off when you startled them, have there been any other symptoms?

its been about 4 hours now and they both appear to be fine swiming around the tank and playing in the rock i have in there ....wow really sleeping i would have never guessed that i am new to this and i guess i have alot to learn
 
Well, I've not actually seen your fish, so for all I know they may well have a horrible disease and might drop over dead today. :eek1:

But, your description of swimming on their sides in the upper corner then bolting when startled says "sleeping clowns" to me. If no other symptoms are apparent, then I'm sure that's all it was.

And for pete's sake, let those poor little fishies sleep in next time!
