I have two acellatis clowns and the smaller one has dark spots under his skin. You can see it through the white stripes. There are large odd shaped dark spots alomost taking up his whole stripe. I have had the fish for over a year and the water conditions are all normal. He has hosted to a BTA and also rugs my bubble coral and pagoda cup. I'll try to post a pic tomorrow morning. Any Ideas??

Last thing that I added was a Sea Hare, The clowns are in a 75 gal with 5 Chromis, a sixline wrasse, yellow watchman goby and a small Naso Tang. He has been with those fish for about 6 months now. No one is harrassing him and he is still eating.

Maybe this will work

My female ocellaris clown looks like yours. She is healthy and she's been like that for several years.
I know she got her bruises when she was bitten by a trigger.
It might be bruising or scars?
