I thought I was in the clear with this guy. I bought him a few weeks ago because he was eating aggresively. He ate today and looked fine this evening. After the lights went out I noticed his nose was up in the overflow like he was sleeping there (he never does that), so I stuck my hand in and had to help him get free. He then went to the bottom and hung out.
Later I noticed the copperband kind of floating, not really swimming and the yellow tang swishing his tail at him (he hasn't done that since the 1st day) I looked closer, and the copperband was bloody where the tang got him. I immediately put the copperband in the sump, but I don't expect him to make it.
Do you think the yellow tang was just attacking a sick and weaker fish? Because if not, I think the tang must have decided he didn't like the guy and that's why the copperband was in trouble in the 1st place. They had been getting along really well. This sucks...
