Sick Cromis

I have a Cromis that is not eating and is clearly not feeling well. He looks healthy but on close inspection (he) has a small clear bubble protruding from his anus as though he has some prolapse of his intestine. I doubt there is much I can do for the little guy, just wondering what ia going on. I have had him in my tank for eleven years and it will be sad to see him go.

Possible external gas bubble? This link has a pic of one...see if it compares to your Chromis'.
