Thanks very much. I do have some more info to tell you. The temp was getting cold in the tank so I droped in the heater. By the next morning the aquarium was atleast 90 degrees it was so hot that heat radiated up into the air. This is the only coral to be affected,

Off hand, it looks like recession and a little bit of tissue necrosis.

When you say you dropped in the heater, does this mean you're not using a heater? Even though it may usually be warm enough where you are (in Florida?) that you don't always NEED a heater, it is a nice precaution to have one in there if any case something like this happens. Keep the heater in the tank, and if the temperature doesn't drop far enough, then it doesn't come on. If the temperature does drop, then it counters the drop.

That being said, and assuming your water condition are acceptable, the temperature flux could very well (and probably is) be the culprit in all of this. In my experience, corals are much more able to hold themselves against a slow drop in temperature to a certain temperature which varies from coral to coral. So the drop in temperature alone may have irritated your corals, but not killed all of them IMO. What did them in was the temperature rocketing up to 90F in such a short period of time. This is what I'm guessing to be a >10F jump.

I would suggest slowly bring the temperature back into acceptable regions, and just keep an eye on your corals. Do water changes also, because with all of those dying corals, water issue may or may not be compromised.
