Sick LTA before and after

Back around the beginning of December, my wife bought a nono cube 12 stocked with a LTA that was quite under the weather. She came in the forums here for advice.
After following the advice, witch included regular feedings, swiched to a older and larger tank (54 gal) with much better paremeters, better lighting, ect. here's the result after a couple months of TLC.

Thanks to everyone that helped pull this guy through. It's over 6 inches across and seems VERY happy now.

It's well on its way to recovery! I can see some of the zooxanthellae coming back to it, but the left half of it in that picture still looks bleached/transparent.

Keep up what you're doing, and you're on your way to a big, beautiful, healthy anemone!

Hes coming right along....keep up the good work.....WHAT kind of clown is that hosting in it? perc or oscel?? My oscel. wont go near my LTA.

Seaduck, the clown is a true perc. She came with the NC setup and we figured we couldn't seperate her from her buddy, so she was tranferred her to the 54 once the LTA started perking up.

I'm sure it's not enough light. 4 x 24w T5's, 2 10k & 2 actenic. The tank is 24" deep. Problem is it's an awkward shapped tank. It's basically a 24" cube with a corner cut off. You dont have many options for lighting to fit decently w/o resorting to MH.

True enough...but for what it's worth it may help that anemone get its color back if you upgrade the lighting...although it seems to have chosen a spot low in the tank, so maybe not.

are you using individual reflectors?

Yeah, seems like that many T5's should be enough, and it is regaining zooxanthellae without an upgrade in the lights, so maybe it just needs more time.

It has one reflector. Maybe in the near future I'll look into a 6 x 24w 24" T5. If there is such a thing or maybe make my own. I'd have to do some research. I'm sure everyone would be a bit happier.
