Sick Lyertail Anthias????

I have a female lyretail anthias that has what appears to be pop eye. When she was first introduced she hid in the rocks. I thought okay she will come out soon. She never did. All of my other anthias stay together and seem to be very healthy. They eat like pigs and swim all over. Since noticing the problem with the one female I have removed her from the tank. She will eat a little bit but does not swim around. I have treated her with some Maracyn plus but it sems to be getting worse. What else can I do?

Also I ordered three lyertail anthias the other day and I only recieved two. The third turned out to be the smallest six lined wrasse I have eveer seen. I called and your staff very quickly offered to send another female anthias but unfortunately all I recieved was an out of stock notification. Thanks for your help.

CKreef,

Thank you for contacting us regarding your order. We apologize for the concerns with the Anthias. Another treatment you may want to try for pop eye that we recommend is soaking the food in Selcon and tetracycline. Quarantining the fish as you have is the best way to help reduce its stress.

We apologize at the time we went to fill your order the item became out of stock. As soon as we have them available we will ship that Anthias out and you will receive an email with your tracking information.

If you have any further questions please contact us at 1-800-334-3699.

I have been feeding food soaked in garlic and selcon. Only problem is she does not eat much. I think she is going down hill quick. This morning she was laying on her side and gasping. Thanks for your quick response.
