Sick Male Swallowtail Angelfish

Hello RC

I have had this guy since May 2011. He has always been fine. Around 2 weeks ago he started staying behind the rocks and not eating. He swims behind the rocks, but never ventures out. His body looks great, no blotches, damage or spots.

He does not swim against rocks or sand.

All of my searches have parasites or bacteria that have physical or erradict (sp?) swimming characteristics. He doesn't have any. No rapid breathing either.

He is the biggest fish in the tank, no one bullies him. There are 6 other fish in the tank that have no symptoms of anything abnormal. The last fish added were a pair of locally breed clown pair in July.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Hello Steve,

Thank you for responding.

It is a 110g tall. A swallowtail pair, pair of exquisite wrasse, pair of flame angels, osc clown pair, powder brown tang and a bartlett anthias. The male swallowtail is 4in, the tang 3.5 everything else around 2.5in.
