Mr. Mantis(Neogonodactylus wennerae) is acting odd. He hasn't ate in about 4-5 days. His tankmate junior is eating fine, their diet consist of raw shrimp chunks, small ram snails, and as of today ghost shrimp on a daily basis or so.. He normally is active under his rock, but has been kinda "slow" the past two days. Swims slowly, kinda lays curled up, underside up. Has gotton more aggressive. Smashing the tank sides with force if I"m near him. I have both calcium and iodine in the tank, so if he does molt, thats covered.
He also doesn't "play". Normally he'll chase the feeding prong around a bit, and swim up and down the sides.
Is this molting behavoir? Or is he sick? is this some form of breeding pattern?
He lives under live rock, junior lives inside a shell.
