sick or not sick...that is my question

i just passed through fish town usa...i noticed that a lot of fish had what looked like clear slime with tiny bubbles or white spots. is this a sign of sick fish??? i noticed it on a lot of there fish and it did not look healthy. i also remember that same slime on my clown right before it died. any thoughts as to what this may be?
it stopped me from buying a pair of cleaner shrimp-they didnt have the signs but i still did not want to buy anything until i had an idea of what i saw...

They dont have the best reputaion for sellign healthy fish. when in doubt always look away, even though is really hard.

There's a couple of possiblities, clear bubble looking is likely flukes, and white spots could be ich or lymphocytosis. In any event, your describing sick fish

thanks Bill...i had a feeling they were i saw this in most of thier tanks and my gut was telling me move on...

it was weird even the cleaner wrasse had them?

well in any event i pasted and i dont think i will buy from them anytime in the future

Nobody ever said cleaner fish couldn't get parasites
