sick purple tang?

I've never seen my purple tang with such a white belly. This happened overnight. Any ideas? Pic is blurry but I had to shoot it fast as he was definitely not sitting still. Also, still eats like a pig.

Could be stress. My Purple tang gets real light colored when stressed. Anything change recently in the tank? Is it like that in the mornings then it clears up or has it adopted that coloration more permanently?

The only thing that has changed has been the addition of 2 green mandarins.

Is his coloration like that all the time now? Anything else chaned behavior, eating, swimming etc or just color?

So far, just color. I will check on him again tonight and see if it's still white. Otherwise, he's still the same tang.

I don't have a carpet anemone. Maybe my mandarins are ninjas... well mandarin now... male did not survive.
