Sick rose bubble tip anemone, HELP! please

I recently purchased two bubble tip anemones to go in my tank. I have already got 1 green/bownish BTA which I have kept for a while now, he stays put eats well and generally seems very happy.

However the chance to buy a rose bubble tip occured and as they are rare as hens teeth around here I decided to go for it.

Anyway, of the two anemones one of them looks pretty rough, mouth gaping open, not accepting food, etc.... The other one looks very happy, eats food and seems to be adapting well.

Any advice folks?

As long as it is not breaking apart, I personally would try to save it. Do you have a skimmer on the tank? That is important in case it does crap out. I wish you all the luck. Adding a little iodine(potassium iodide is considered better) is supposed to help anems repair themselves, but be careful dosing it.

Yes, I have a turboflotor on there. Tank is about 800 liters with sump, so it is a bit underpowered for the tank size, but it does the job.

Ive decided to place the anemone in a large container of tank water on its own, with a heater, powerhead and some light.

I don't think it will make it, it looks even worse now... none of my other BT's have ever looked like this for more than 30mins at a time, usually after expelling waste.

It hasn't been right since day 1... but it is looking worse and worse.

Ironic thing is, it was the 'better' looking of the two when I got them from the shop.

As I said earier, I decided to take it out of the tank, it is currently in a bucket, with heater and power-head.

It looks very bad now, it has gone downhill rapidly today...

It appears to be breaking up slightly in the bucket water now

and it is barely sticking to the rock it is attached too.

I will replace the water in the bucket with more tank water later, but I don't hold out many hopes right now.

Not looking good, but hang in there a little while longer. Can't hurt anything at this point.
