Sick Sebae?

Here...I will give you a reference as to how my Crispa colored up. This should answer your question.

Keep feeding your H. Crispa shrimp about everyday or every other day. Stay on top of your water changes and don't add anything to the tank that can possible harm or disrupt the balance you have going with your Crispa. You have to keep being patient. Good luck!

Oh by the way, do you have any recent pictures? I would take pictures of your Crispa about every week or so. This way you can refer back to them and notice the progress. Kind of like a picture diary.

I was thinking the other day when I posted that my H. Crispa is starting to recover...

Well, after looking closely at it today while feeding it I am almost positive that it is getting better...I noticed some small brownish specks on about 1/2 to 2/3 of the tentacles...I'm assuming that this is the process it is going through to turn back to a more healthy color... :)

Can't see them unless you look close...especially towards the center of the pic...

if you look at it in it's own window not resized but at full size you can see them...photobuck automatically resizes stuff though...

And, here are 2 pics of one of my clowns who has decided to quit investigating the 'nem and start hosting in it... :D He likes to "sleep" underneath of him for some reason... Even caught him simply laying in the 'nem the other night...not even trying to swim, just lounging...darn thing swam away just as I tried to snap a pic of that though...

Very nice. Yes you are correct about your Crispa recoverying. You will notice little brown speckles through the tentacles of your anemone. That's a good sign. :)

It looks much better. Congratulations on the progress so far!

You're not out of the woods yet, but you're certainly heading in the right direction.

I wasn't assuming to be out of the weeds until mine looks like the pics from 55semireef posted above...

Great to know 100% though that the 'nem is started on the road to recovery...shame to think of how many of these 'nems that PetCo and other similar stores sell that die from lack of food, light, etc. within days after getting home...
