Sick Tang?

I have a atlantic blue tang which has been in the tank for over 2 months that in the last 24 hours went from being very healthy and active to discolored, lacking it's appetite and swimming poorly. Any thoughts or suggestions are greatly appreciated.

Looks kinda like he got attacked/stung by something. Maybe a coral sting? Or do you have an anemone in the tank?

No anemone's and no real coral's I can think of that would sting anything. His side is a light tan color in some area (kind of splotchy), more so on one side.

The tang passed away today. Still unsure why. He was a pesky little eater with full personality.
