Sick wrasse

I came home today to find my wrasse (blue side i believe) to be swimming with his head pointed straight up. He's been listless and not eating as much lately. I noticed the "heads up" swiming earlier but it was not as pronounced. hes now in quarentine but where do i begin with treatment. aside from the lack of appetite and odd swimming, hes totally healthy looking.

Is this a Lunare Wrasse? If he's still eating try soaking the food in extreme garlic from your LFS. Soak the food for 15-20 min. Is he breathing normaly or rapid?

Wow I thought I was the only one with this problem. I lost a couple wrasses like that too. I was never able to find out how to treat them because they would die fast after showing the symptoms. You'll probably see the wrasse sticking its head out of the water soon. It's all but over then. Good luck, if you find out how to treat it then please let us know.

Its not a Lunar. I really can't remember what it is though. Either a lubbocks or a "fairy" of some type. Now in Q and under Cu++ treatment its sitting on the bottom and resting.
BAckyard, sorry to hear about your fish. Hopefully I can get a handle on this.
As a side note, my 2YO figured out how to turn on my dosing pump and dumped 1G of Ca and 1G base into my system. I might not have to worry to hard about getting this one back into my tank...:rolleye1:
