Sierra Reef

Sorry if you already mentioned this somewhere else in the thread but I just couldn't find it. What are you using for flow? is that 2 Tunze 6105 or 6095?

Really like the clean look of your tank. I have 2 x Tunze 6105 in my 120 gallons but couldn't get alot of flow because of a lot of rocks and afraid that too much flow will make the Rose Bubble tip Anemone move. How much flow does your anemone get? does it get enough flow to make it tentacles wave back and forth alot? Do you have any video that show the anemone in your tank with the normal current flow?

Thanks, sorry for all the questions

sorry for the delay, I forgot to answer.

I have no video with the configuration I'm using, but I have some tests I did
I use two 6095, but I'm currently testing 4 x rw8

Tomae, I just watched your videos. Stunning display!
Very beautiful. I love the balance.
You bubble tip is also gorgeous.
The system reminds me of v1 rotate's a reef in the sky..

Very harmonious your Reef!
Honestly think the SPS with beautiful colors.
Congratulations Leo!

Your reef was always one of the biggest inspirations for me Alexandre. I'm not very happy with the colors of my SPS, always see the greenest grass in neighbor. I need help of people like you to achieve optimum colors.

thank you very much

Really great videos, thank you for sharing.

thank u josh!

This is such a great looking reef! I originally intended my reef to be minimalist but the corals grew big and now it already looks cluttered. I think you've achieved a great balance with the amount of rockwork, separation of the islands, and amount of coral. Nice work!

So you are using default setting on your nikon? Sorry if you already posted, but what model nikon do you use? I saw your posts on the white balance and lens type. Can you tell us more about the filter?

I have such trouble getting clear pictures that are not massively blue.

Thank u so much logzor.

I´m using a Nikon 5200 with 18-200 VRII . cloudy day pre definitions white balance, and turn all to right to get some hot color. I´m using change one blue lamps to white 10000k just to take a pics. not using filter any more, lost a little definitions with it

Thanks for the tip! I've been thinking about upgrading to the 5200 or 5300. I currently have an old D40.

while I was cleaning the pumps, I took advantage and made some shots. I hope you enjoy.I made some changes as a new dosing, the frag tank and new lighting
I lost a bit of color in recent times testing some things and in the end I went back to basics exchanges of water and amino acids and the colors seem to be slowly returning. I know that all these drops may work, but not for me

Absolutely spectacular! You have a real eye for arranging the different coral colors and types. Well done! What kind of Aminos are you dosing?

I love the balance and the scale of your display.

Stunning photography, stunning tank, and I concur it's truly immaculate. Despite the recent color loss everything still looks great, keep it up!
