Sigma 105 macro

I just purchased a Sigma 105 macro. Man what a great lens!

I tried shooting the lens in manual mode but can't seem to figure out how to get the lens to stop down manually. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Aperture is controlled from the camera body. You need to be in Aperture priority or Manual mode on the camera to adjust it. Putting the lens in "Manual" just refers to the focus.

Thanks for the info. I keep wanting to operate these lenses like my old manuals. I quess I should have read my D80 instruction manual.
