Silence clamp replacement

Any idea how to take the original clamp off? Seems to hard to take it off without beak if it apart or I'm doing something wrong.

It locks in the same way, you should be able to pull it off though the tabs may break. It is tricky because the magnet will take away any iron tools, but if you want to save the clamp you can use a small screwdriver to unhook and pry the tabs out.

This is killing me. I bought this pump from Germany, will that be any different?
Couldn't take it off still.... Tried used a screwdriver to ply it off.

I put clamp on dry side magnet. Wet side with clamp feels different.

If it was a very old one, it may have been glued by the previous owner. The clamps from 2006 and early 2007 were a more brittle plastic and the tabs would break and people would glue them even though we replaced them for free. Is it a DC pump? The AC models from Germany if 230V/50Hz will not work here even with a voltage adapter, they depend on the Hz for the speed and the coil for 50Hz cannot work on 60Hz and vice versa.

The pump is likely a DC 6205 or 6305, that is an older clamp, at that time they had one long tab on the big pumps and it does appear to be glued. This is a tough one, replacing the magnet will be expensive and this is likely an obsolete pump model that given the age would be difficult to justify much investment in, since mid 2010 the silence clamps have been standard, so this would have to be older than that and coming up on the expected life span of a DC pump.

It's a DC 6205. Not been used until now.

Can I use dry side magnet mount silence clamp put in the water and put wet side magnet on the dry side?

I probably can use dremel tool cut the clamp and save the magnet.
