I purchased this unit several months ago. The impeller stop moving but motor spins. It looks like the spines has been worn off. I cleaned the pump and did not see rock or debris in the pump. What do I need to do to get this pump warranty?

I don't think this could happen without something jamming the impeller, it is marginal as to whether this is a warranty issue. The back half is protected by that black strainer plate but something would have had to have stopped the impeller to strip the spline. If you are in the US, I will work with you to get you a replacement, these impellers are very expensive. If you are outside the US let me know and I can refer you to the correct service center.

I am located in Miami, FL. Rogger Castells recommend speaking to you. My return chamber in my sump has nothing but water. Filter socks prevent any debris getting into the sump return chamber. I was baffle how the spine got striped. Do you think back pressure can cause the spine to striped? I have to use a ball valve to dial down the flow to the main display. This is even passing through my 1/3hp chiller.

I need this fix right away. Whatever you can do for me I would appreciated.

Do you need me to send you the pump or I can install the replacement part myself?
