Silence Pro Pump & Closed Loop

Roger,
Please excuse the constant questions. I am a bit of a Tunze fan though. I have owned a wavebox, some nano streams, and just purchased (for an upcoming build) a 9012 skimmer and a pump for the return. Still need to get my ozmolator.

So for this build I am making a custom AIO system with the display being 30x30x20 for approximately 78 gallons or so.

Not quite sure if I will go with powerheads, but have always wanted to try a closed loop system with an OM 4 way. Will this pump work on that, or is it too much pump for my tank? Or is the pump designed for an OM?

Silence PRO Pump 1073.110

What are the intake and output sizes for the pump?

Thanks again.

The pump uses 1.5". My thoughts are that closed loops have largely disappeared for good reason, they are not very energy efficient compared to modern propeller pumps, you will have the same flow using about 125W and spending $600+ with all the plumbing that you could have for $450 and 42W with two 6095 stream pumps.
