silence the pump

anyone have any idea's on how to make a pump quiet. my pump is loud and i was looking for suggestions on how to make it quite. it's hooked on to the sump for return flow. thanks

Is it external? If it's vibration noise, take a mouse pad and put it underneath. Other than that, not sure what you can do. What kind of pump is it?

get an eheim and the first foot from the pump use spa tubing.
