Silicone sealant

Does anyone make a sealant that you can use in your tank for a emergency leak that will cure in the water - so you don't have to drain the tank?

Silicone? No, not possible I don't think. Cyanoacrylate (crazy glue) and two-part epoxies (putty style for aquarium use) cure underwater but I don't know if anyone has done a successful emergency patch with either.

I’d have to agree. My understanding for a proper silicone seal is it has to be dried and cleaned of old silicone and then resealed. I’m also not aware of anyone using it as an emergency patch

Underwater the silicone is going to skin up immediately with contact with the water, plus you need to gas’s off during the cure.
