Silicone seals?

Just noticed this on my 120 I bought used. The big seal inside the tank is torn and pulling away from the glass. The blade on the magnet pulls it back. I've read these few different options on these seals. Should I start planning to replace the tank yet? Or will it be ok?

Its fine.. The inner secondary seal is just to try protect the primary structural seal from scrapers/critters,etc...
Its not adding to the strength of the tank and lack of one won't cause a tank to fail..
You can remove/redo it if you want...

It looks like just the edge is peeling some try not to mess with it I wouldn't be concerned unless it starts getting closer to corner allowing water to main seal

I wouldn't worry about it either. As stated, it's not structural. If the tank has been holding water for a couple days plus, then there is no reason to think it won't continue to do so.

I agree with the others. In fact the structural seam that u can see in the picture looks in great shape as far as I can see.
