Sorry if I sound like a salesman for this stuff but I think this could be really big for the hobby!!
I would not exactly say that. It is a common consumer grade sealant, with a low tensile strength, and the adhesive strength is so low, it is not listed. This is very typical of consumer grade silicones, such as GE I, II, Aqueon/AGA, and DAP silicones. It is definately not a construction adhesive, at least for our purposes.
I find it interesting, that the product data also says it is "chemically impervious to all mold and mildew," and contains Titanium Dioxide (it is white, not translucent.)
In short, it is not silicone, it is a modified polymer; it is proprietary, so there is no way to know what really is in it, and it is not FDA approved for food contact. Conventional wisdom, has always been, and will remain:
1-part Acetoxy cure
100% silicone (no co-polymers)
FDA approved for food contact
Suitable for the application, e.g. sealants for light work, adhesives for structural purposes.
