i have GE silicone II is says 100% silicone on the tube is this stuff safe ???

Some of the GE products have anti-fungal agents in them, and aren't good to use. That one might be fine. Does the container say anything about mold or mildew resistance?

That's a good point. The stuff I used was 100% silicone and nothing else.

I used GE Silicone I on my sump. As bertoni says, stay away from the tubes that have the bio-seal agents in them. It will say right in the front of the tube under the GE Silicone I.
